...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CALLOWAY...SOUTHERN
MARSHALL...CENTRAL TRIGG...EAST CENTRAL GRAVES AND SOUTHEASTERN LYON
COUNTIES THROUGH 445 AM CDT...

At 409 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Energy Lake Campground to 9 miles northwest of
Murray. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mayfield, Benton, Cadiz, Golden Pond Visitors Center, Energy Lake
Campground, Woodlands Nature Station, Turkey Bay, Land Between The
Lakes Area, Cravens Bay Campground, Canton, Rockcastle, Hardin,
Kirksey, Brewers, and Aurora.

This includes Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 50 and
53.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for western
Kentucky.
