A weak warm front stretching across North Carolina this morning will
lift northward into Virginia today. A weak cold front will move east
across the region tonight and early Thursday, then a stronger cold
front will cross the area late Friday into Saturday, before stalling
out just to our south.

                    showers late in the morning, then chance of
