...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Neches River Near Diboll affecting Polk, Houston, Trinity,
  Angelina and Tyler Counties.

  Neches River Near Neches affecting Anderson, Houston and Cherokee
  Counties.

For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,
Diboll, Rockland...Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Diboll.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Lowland flooding will continue for several
  days. Ranchers should evacuate livestock and equipment near the
  river to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:15 AM CDT Thursday was 14.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.7
    feet early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.7 feet on 05/03/1966.

  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:30 AM CDT Thursday was 14.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall to 13.8 feet early Saturday
    afternoon. It will then rise to 13.9 feet early Sunday
    morning. It will fall to 13.8 feet Sunday morning then rise
    again.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.5 feet on 11/01/2013.
