The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Taylor County in west central Texas...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 442 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated stationary thunderstorms
  producing heavy rain from Lawn to Tuscola to Ovalo to west to
  Happy Valley. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the
  warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Lawn, Bradshaw, Coronados Camp, Happy
  Valley, Camp Tonkawa, Ovalo, Lake Abilene and Shep.

crossing Elm Creek, FM 89 crossing Scott Hollow, County Road 221

Valley Creek, County Road 209 crossing Valley Creek and County Road
208 crossing Spring Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
