...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Coleman, McCulloch and Runnels.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 639 PM CDT, thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall from
    Talpa south to the O H Ivie reservoir were moving slowly east
    and southeast. Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Voss, Valera, Leaday, Gouldbusk, Talpa, Stacy, Glen Cove,
    Rockwood, Waldrip, Benoit, Fisk, Mozelle, Shields, Hords
    Creek Reservoir, Us-283 Near The Mcculloch-Coleman County
    Line and Whon.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    County Road 406 crossing Home Creek, County Road 300 crossing
    Home Creek, County Road 348 crossing Bull Creek, crossings
    along County Road 302, County Road 258 crossing Home Creek,
    County Road 131 crossing Hog Creek, crossings along County
    Road 158, County Road 135 crossing Middle Mustang Creek,
    crossings along County Road 157 and crossings along County
    Road 128.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
