A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N...
  Coastal Waters OF Northwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...
  Coastal Waters of Northern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...

At 201 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. The strongest area of
this thunderstorm was located around 19.5 N, about 60 nm north of
Aguadilla and 96 nm northwest of San Juan, moving east at 20 knots.
Although the strongest activity borders our offshore Atlantic
waters, lines of strong showers and thunderstorms continue to
develop from NW Puerto Rico towards that area. Waterspouts possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
