...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LAFAYETTE...DIXIE
AND SOUTHEASTERN TAYLOR COUNTIES THROUGH 900 AM EDT...

At 836 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Steinhatchee, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Cross City, Steinhatchee, Horseshoe Point, Horseshoe Beach, Tennille,
Shamrock, Clara, Cross City Airport, Jena, Fletcher Springs, Hines,
Jonesboro, Hatch Bend, Eugene, Fletcher, Guaranto Springs, and Grady.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM EDT for Big Bend
Florida.
