.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 127 AM EDT Wed Apr 17 2024

Dry high pressure will continue to ridge across the area through
the rest of the week. This will keep an E/SE flow in place with
afternoon sea breezes near the coast each day. Highs will be
gradually climbing with mid 80s to lower 90s this afternoon, to
mid 80s to mid 90s inland by Friday. The high center shifts east
for the weekend as a cold front settles into north Florida. Highs
continue in the mid 80s coastal to mid 90s inland through the
weekend. The cold front will then push through the area on
Monday/Monday night, with scattered showers/storms possible along
and ahead of it. High pressure builds back into the area for the
rest of the period, with an E/NE flow in place. Highs return to
the mid 80s to lower 90s through the end of the period. Lows
throughout the week will be in the 60s.
