At 942 PM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly in Pawnee,
Osage and Washington counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the
northeast at greater than 40 mph. The average amount where it rained
last hour was around one half of an inch with maximum amounts of an
inch and a half to two inches. Coverage, and intensity increased
during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this evening
and into overnight, mostly cloudy, occasional showers and
thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may be severe .
