.SUMMARY...

ALTHOUGH NO 100 DEGREE DAYS OCCURRED IN JULY...THE PERSISTENT HIGH
PRESSURE KEPT DAILY TEMPERATURES ABOVE AVERAGE FOR MOST OF THE

AND WEST TO ALLOW A COLD FRONT INTO NORTHERN ARKANSAS DURING THE MID
TO LATE PART OF JULY. THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY STALLED...PRODUCING A
TOTAL OF 2.28" OF RAINFALL FROM JULY 20TH THROUGH THE 24TH. THIS
BROUGHT THE RAINFALL TOTALS ABOVE NORMAL FOR THE MONTH BEFORE THE
PRECIPITATION SHUT OFF THROUGH THE END OF JULY

.MONTHLY TEMPERATURES...

WARMEST FOR ANY JULY ON RECORD.

.DAILY RAINFALL RECORDS TIED OR BROKEN...

A RECORD RAINFALL AMOUNT OF 1.38" FELL ON THE 22ND...WHICH BROKE THE
OLD RECORD OF 1.31" SET IN 1950.
