DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT...

THE MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL. MONTHLY
PRECIPITATION WAS BELOW NORMAL.

A RECORD DAILY HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 59 DEGREES WAS SET ON THE
3RD...BREAKING THE OLD RECORD OF 58 SET IN 2000.

THIS WAS THE FIRST MONTH OF 2015 TO HAVE AN ABOVE NORMAL MONTHLY
AVERAGE TEMPERATURE.

ON THE 18TH...DULLES AIRPORT HAD A HIGH OF 80 DEGREES. THIS WAS THE
WARMEST TEMPERATURE OBSERVED SINCE OCTOBER 28TH 2014.

DESPITE THE MILDER WEATHER THE TEMPERATURE ONLY REACHED 80 DEGREES
THE ONE TIME. THIS WAS THE FEWEST DAYS OF 80 DEGREE OR HIGHER
TEMPERATURES IN APRIL SINCE 1998.

A BRIEF PERIOD OF SLEET RESULTED IN A TRACE OF SNOWFALL BEING
RECORDED ON THE 25TH. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SNOW OR SLEET HAS BEEN
RECORDED ON THIS PARTICULAR DAY SINCE RECORDS BEGAN AT THE AIRPORT
IN 1962.
