THE WINTER OF 2015-2016 AT HARRISON WAS ONE OF THE WARMEST IN YEARS.
TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S IN MID DECEMBER...LATE JANUARY AND
MID AND LATE FEBRUARY ASSURED THIS WOULD BE POSSIBLE...AND PUT THE
SEASON IN THE RECORD BOOKS.

.SEASONAL TEMPERATURES...
THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 1971-1972. THE
AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2011-2012...AND THE
8TH WARMEST ON RECORD. THE AVERAGE SEASONAL TEMPERATURE WAS THE
WARMEST SINCE 1999-2000...AND 6TH WARMEST ON RECORD.

THERE WERE 54 DAYS WITH TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW FREEZING...WHICH
WAS THE FEWEST IN FOUR YEARS /SINCE 2011-2012/.

.RAINFALL...
RAINFALL WAS ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THREE YEARS /SINCE
2012-2013/. IT WAS THE WETTEST WINTER SINCE 2008-2009.

.SNOWFALL...
SNOWFALL WAS BELOW AVERAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE WINTER OF
2012-2013. MEASURABLE SNOW FELL IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY. THE HIGHEST
24-HOUR SNOWFALL WAS DURING THE FEBRUARY 23RD-24TH STORM...WITH 3.0
INCHES OF ACCUMULATION.
