This hydrologic outlook is based on the forecast rainfall for the
next 24 hours and estimated runoff from earlier rainfall. Crests may
vary if actual rainfall or runoff is greater or less than
anticipated.

At 19.0 feet...Flooding of low-lying areas occurs along the west bank
of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge about 1 mile west
of Brunswick.

Location: Marais Des Cygnes River at Osawatomie

Latest stage: 15.9 feet at 7 AM Friday
Forecast crest: 33.0 feet Monday May 01
At 31.0 feet...347th Road or Main Street east of Highway 169 is under
water.

At 30.0 feet...Highway 152 floods 0.75 miles west of La Cygne. If
Middle Creek is also flooding Highway 152, the only route into or out
of la cygne will be the County Road, or 4th Street, leading north
from La Cygne.

At 19.5 feet...Highway 192 just east of Easton is closed due to swift
current of water over the road.

Location: Crooked River near Richmond

At 21.0 feet...Water begins to overtop a gravel road about 1 mile
south of the F and B Highway intersection.

At 23.5 feet...Rural areas along the river which are not protected by
levees flood.

levees may be inundated.

At 25.0 feet...Numerous farm levees are overtopped. Flooding of
agricultural land and secondary roads occurs.

At 20.0 feet...Low-lying areas east of Agency begin to flood.

Location: Wakenda Creek at Carrollton
Flood stage: 16.0 feet
Latest stage: 3.7 feet at 10 AM Friday
Forecast crest: 18.4 feet Monday May 01
At 19.1 feet...Water reaches the bottom of the South Main Street
bridge over Wakenda Creek.
