...A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF
MODERATE RAIN THROUGH MONDAY...


LOCATION:

THE FOLLOWING DRAINAGES IN NORTHERN GILA COUNTY...PINE CREEK...EAST
VERDE RIVER...TONTO CREEK AND TRIBUTARIES THAT FLOW INTO THESE
DRAINAGES. ALL STREAMS AND RIVERS IN YAVAPAI COUNTY.

IMPACTS:

MODERATE RISES IN STREAM LEVELS WILL BEGIN TO SHUT DOWN ROADS
THAT HAVE LOW WATER CROSSINGS THROUGH MONDAY. MAIN STEM RIVER
FLOODING IS NOT FORECAST AT THIS TIME.

TIMING:

NOW THROUGH TUESDAY...WIDESPREAD RAINFALL IS EXPECTED. RAINFALL
AMOUNTS FROM SATURDAY THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON HAVE REACHED 1 TO 3
INCHES ALONG THE MOGOLLON RIM NORTH OF PAYSON. RAINFALL
INTENSITIES HAVE DECREASED IN THIS AREA THIS AFTERNOON...BUT WILL
INCREASE AGAIN ON MONDAY. TOTAL RAINFALL FOR THIS EVENT ALONG THE
EASTERN MOGOLLON RIM IS FORECAST TO REACH 3 TO 4 INCHES. IN
YAVAPAI COUNTY...MODERATE RAIN WILL SHIFT TOWARD WESTERN PORTIONS
OF THE COUNTY TONIGHT...THEN AFFECT THE ENTIRE COUNTY MONDAY.
