...TYPHOON VONGFONG APPROACHING THE MARIANAS...

TYPHOON VONGFONG IS APPROACHING THE MARIANAS FROM THE EAST-
SOUTHEAST. AS THE STORM APPROACHES THE REGION...WIDESPREAD SHOWERS
WITH TORRENTIAL RAINFALL ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE MARIANAS. A FLASH
FLOOD WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 6 TO 10 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE STORM. AN
ADDITIONAL 3 TO 6 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE
WEEK.

THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLOODING WILL BE CLOSELY
MONITORED BY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS
BEEN ISSUED FOR THE MARIANAS. PLEASE KEEP INFORMED OF THE LATEST
FORECASTS...ADVISORIES AND WARNINGS. THIS WILL BE THE LAST OUTLOOK
