...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 AM CDT FOR
ALLAMAKEE AND WINNESHIEK COUNTIES...

AT 201 AM CDT...HEAVY RAINFALL CONTINUES ACROSS MUCH OF ALLAMAKEE
AND WINNESHIEK COUNTIES...WITH RAIN AMOUNTS OF 4 TO 6 INCHES
REPORTED SINCE TUESDAY EVENING. FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING IN MANY
AREAS AND WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. LOOK FOR RAPID RISES ON AREA
STREAMS AND RIVERS TO CONTINUE AS WELL WITH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1
TO 2 INCHES EXPECTED.

THOSE NEAR STREAMS AND RIVERS...AS WELL AS THOSE CAMPING...SHOULD
TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION IF RISING WATERS ARE OBSERVED.

THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STREAMS AND
DRAINAGES... TURKEY RIVER...DRY RUN CREEK...UPPER IOWA
RIVER...WILLIAMS CREEK...SILVER CREEK...WONDER CREEK...DEER
CREEK...LITTLE TURKEY CREEK...ROGERS CREEK...DU CHARME
CREEK...ROBERTS CREEK...WEXFORD CREEK...TROUT RIVER...AND TROUT RUN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. THOSE CAMPING SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION TO
MOVE AWAY FROM RISING WATERS.
