...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR
JEFFERSON DAVIS...EASTERN CALCASIEU...ALLEN...SOUTHEASTERN BEAUREGARD
AND EVANGELINE PARISHES...

AT 157 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. WHILE THE
HEAVIEST RAIN HAS ENDED FOR NOW AND URBAN FLOODING IS SUBSIDING,
GAUGES ALONG DITCHES, BAYOUS, AND RIVERS INDICATE WATERS LEVELS ARE
STILL RISING AS RAIN WATER FLOWS TOWARD LOWER LOCATIONS. MOTORIST
ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION AND FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE IF POSSIBLE
WHERE WATER IS FLOWING ACROSS ROADWAYS.

LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO INDIAN
LAKE...CHICOT STATE PARK...BAYOU CHICOT...ALLEN PARISH
AIRPORT...TURKEY CREEK...PINE PRAIRIE...OAKDALE...ELIZABETH AND
BEAVER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
