The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Lauderdale County in east central Mississippi...

* Until 900 PM CDT

* At 605 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Two to three inches of rain
  have fallen. Flash flooding has been reported in Meridian.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lauderdale, Meridian, Meridian Station, Marion, Zero, Increase,
  Martin, Meehan, Toomsuba, Savoy, Suqualena, Kewanee, Nellieburg,
  Alamucha and Daleville.

Additional rainfall amounts of two to three inches are possible in
the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
