THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORMAN HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ALFALFA COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA...

* UNTIL 630 AM CDT

* AT 334 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
  HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
  ALREADY FALLEN. FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  CHEROKEE...JET...BURLINGTON...AMORITA...BYRON...LAMBERT...
  GREAT SALT PLAINS LAKE...INGERSOLL...DRIFTWOOD AND WALDRON.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN
THE WARNED AREA AS ADDITIONAL STORMS TRAIN OVER THE AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...FARMLAND...AND OTHER LOW LYING
SPOTS.
