THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN PIMA COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST ARIZONA...
  NORTHEASTERN SANTA CRUZ COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST ARIZONA...

* UNTIL 500 PM MST

* AT 300 PM MST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  A VERY STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM GENERATING EXTREMELY HEAVY
  RAIN NEAR HIGHWAY 82 NEAR AND EAST OF SONOITA AND NEAR TO NORTH
  OF ELGIN. RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 1.5 INCHES WILL CAUSE
  FLASH FLOODING.

* THE STORM PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING WILL OTHERWISE REMAIN OVER
  MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF THE INDICATED COUNTY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STREAMS AND DRAINAGES...
CIENEGA CREEK...MUD SPRING CANYON...SONOITA
CREEK...FORTYNINE WASH...GARDNER CANYON AND TURKEY CREEK.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF WASHES
AND STREAMS...ROADS...CANYONS...AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS
AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
