The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flood Advisory for Rapid Creek and Stream Rises in...
  Central Leon County in central Texas...

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 851 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that were
  producing heavy rainfall along the I-45 corridor in Leon County.
  Excessive runoff will cause small stream flooding. This means some
  low water crossings in the region may become impassable.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Buffalo, Centerville and Leona.

Radar estimates suggest more than 2 inches of rain has fallen in
areas southeast of Centerville. The creeks and streams most likely
impacted by flooding are Haley Branch, Forehand Branch, and Boggy
Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be
especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
