The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Shelby County in central Kentucky...

* Until 645 AM EDT

* At 350 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms moving across the county.  1 to 2 inches of rain has
  fallen across the county.  This will lead to excessive runoff
  which may result in flooding across Shelby county.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Shelbyville, Simpsonville, Pleasureville, Montclair, Elmburg, Old
  Christianburg, Hatton, Harrisonville, Hooper and Middletown
  Heights.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
