  Northern Scotland County in central North Carolina...
  Richmond County in central North Carolina...
  Northwestern Hoke County in central North Carolina...

* Until 715 PM EDT

* At 409 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated closures of thunderstorms
  with very heavy rain from Rockingham to Pinehurst to Aberdeen,
  with little movement. Rainfall rates of 3 inches per hour were
  detected. Most areas will see very heavy rain for 30 to 45
  minutes, with 2 to 3 inches possible. This will cause urban and
  small stream flooding in the advisory area. These storms will
  affect much of Richmond, northwest Scotland, western Hoke, and
  southwest Moore Counties through 500 PM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Move to higher ground.
