Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
317 AM EDT Tue Mar 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...Scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms
will be a threat again today as several upper level troughs
interact with an increasingly warm and moist airmass. A weak
front moves through tonight...bringing slightly drier air into
the forecast area into Wednesday. The best chance for stronger
thunderstorms remains across the northern Midlands and Pee Dee
today. Elsewhere, rainfall will be extremely spotty and generally
light. Winds each morning should help limit fog formation.
Highest winds should occur today ahead of and behind the cold
front.
