.DISCUSSION...Scattered thunderstorms will continue through late
this afternoon mainly across the south Midlands and Central Savannah
River Area which are south of a slow-moving front. Intense lightning
along with gusty winds and and heavy downpours will occur.

The pressure gradient will be tonight and Thursday. Poor dispersion
is expected this evening through early Thursday morning. Some fog
may develop late tonight with enough low-level moisture present
and nighttime cooling.

Surface winds Thursday will be from the south-southeast less than
5 mph after daybreak, then increase to 5 to 10 mph during the afternoon.
Transport winds will also be south-southeast around 10 mph during the
afternoon. Relative humidities will drop to near 50 percent.
