FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN AND NORTHERN MAINE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CARIBOU ME
247 AM EDT FRI AUG 22 2014

.DISCUSSION...
A VERY WEAK UPPER LEVEL LOW SLIDING ACROSS THE REGION WILL BRING
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS OVER MUCH OF THE AREA TODAY. THE
HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTHERN AND WESTERN MAINE HAVE THE BEST CHANCES
OF SEEING MEASURABLE RAIN TODAY. A LARGE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM
BUILDING DOWN FROM THE NORTH WILL BRING PARTLY SUNNY AND DRY
CONDITIONS FOR THE WEEKEND AND LASTING INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
WINDS WILL BE LIGHT.
