FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
235 PM CDT SUN MAY 29 2016

.DISCUSSION...
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE REGION WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE
VERY WARM TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE NORTHERN ALABAMA EARLY THIS
WEEK. EVEN WITH THE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE...STRONG DAYTIME HEATING
AND RESULTING INSTABILITY COULD RESULT IN ISOLATED SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT...MAINLY FROM THE MID AFTERNOON TO EARLY
EVENING. RAIN CHANCES HOWEVER REMAIN TOO LOW TO INCLUDE IN THE
GENERAL FORECAST THROUGH TUESDAY. RAIN CHANCES HOWEVER DO RETURN
FOR THE MIDWEEK AND BEYOND...AS DEEPER MOISTURE AND MORE
INSTABILITY IS REALIZED...AND A FRONTAL BOUNDARY NEARS THE REGION.

THE VERY WARM TEMPERATURES WILL PRODUCE HIGH MIXING HEIGHTS AND
GOOD TO VERY GOOD DISPERSION RATES ON MEMORIAL DAY. SOMEWHAT
LIGHTER TRANSPORT WINDS WILL PRODUCE FAIR TO GENERALLY GOOD
DISPERSION RATES ON TUESDAY.
