Fire Weather Forecast FOR southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
226 PM PDT Fri Jun 23 2017

...Significant lightning may lead to fire starts Sunday afternoon
through Monday...

.DISCUSSION...Very hot, dry weather continues through the weekend.
An upper trough brings a chance for thunderstorms mainly to the
mountains Sunday afternoon through Monday. Storms may also
continue Sunday night, and these would tend to be dry, and are
more likely to affect valleys. Significant lightning is possible
with these storms and may lead to increased initial attack. Breezy
and cooler weather is expected Monday and beyond.
