Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee
National Weather Service Nashville TN
308 AM CST Fri Feb 23 2018

.DISCUSSION...The current wet pattern will last through Saturday
night, when a strong cold front will sweep through Middle Tennessee.
There is also a high potential for thunderstorms, especially
Saturday afternoon and evening. Look for a few lingering showers
Sunday and Sunday evening before drier air finally works its way into
the region. The only fire weather concern at this time is lightning
strikes from thunderstorms. Of course, fuels across the mid state
remain wet owing to recent abundant rainfall, and the additional
rainfall today through Saturday night will help further limit the
fire potential.
