.DISCUSSION...

...Gusty Winds and Low Relative Humidity from this afternoon and
evening...

Expect slightly cooler temperatures and locally breezy
westerly winds today as a dry cold front moves through the area.
An increase of high clouds with small chance of a mountain
thunderstorm for the central Idaho Panhandle is forecast for this
afternoon and again for Friday afternoon. A very dry airmass will
remain over the region through the weekend and into early next
week with a return of hot temperatures and light winds. Low
relative humidities during the day and areas of poor humidity
recovery at night especially ridge tops can continue to be
expected.

***************************************************************
Forecasts for 20 foot wind speeds (valleys and ridge tops) are
10 minute averages reflecting RAWS wind.
