FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH-CENTRAL
ARIZONA AND SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHOENIX AZ
250 AM MST WED AUG 5 2015

.DISCUSSION...
STRONG HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL KEEP HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS IN PLACE
FOR ONE MORE DAY...WITH MOST OF THE HOTTER DESERTS TO CLIMB ABOVE 110
DEGREES TODAY. HUMIDITIES WILL MOSTLY RANGE FROM 10 TO 15 PERCENT. ON
THURSDAY THE HIGH SHIFTS A BIT TO THE EAST AND ALLOWS MOISTURE TO
SPREAD INTO THE DESERTS FROM THE SOUTH. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL FALL A
FEW DEGREES BUT STAY ABOVE NORMAL. MEANWHILE...HUMIDITIES RISE INTO
THE MID TEENS TO LOW 20S AND THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR
AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS PRETTY MUCH AREA-WIDE. WINDS BOTH DAYS STAY
RATHER LIGHT WITH TYPICAL AFTERNOON AND EVENING GUSTINESS FROM THE
SOUTHWEST TO WEST.

...THUNDERSTORMS IMPLY GUSTY WINDS...

NOTE...ADDITIONAL FIRE WEATHER FORECAST INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND
IN THE AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION. SEE PRODUCT PHXAFDPSR.
