Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
353 PM CDT Wed Aug 16 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers have occurred across mainly north central Louisiana portions of the area
this afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms on Thursday will begin earlier in the day
and will affect mainly northern portions of the area. Where rain is not occurring, afternoon
relative humidities are generally between 45 and 60 percent, and will remain so through the weekend
as afternoon temperatures climb well into the 90s and moist airmass remains in place. South winds may
also increase once again to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon as well on Thursday, but likely not quite that
strong by the weekend.
