TODAY AND THURSDAY...

MONSOONAL MOISTURE WILL BRING ANOTHER DAY OF AFTERNOON AND
EVENING THUNDERSTORMS IN THE HIGHER MOUNTAINS ON THURSDAY. STORMS
WILL BE CAPABLE OF GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL. RAIN WILL
ACCOMPANY MOST STORMS BUT ABUNDANT LIGHTNING IS EXPECTED TO
CONTINUE TO BE A MAJOR CONCERN DUE TO MOSTLY DRY FUELS FOR
PORTIONS OF SISKIYOU COUNTY. STORMS WILL SHIFT TO FAR NORTHERN
CALIFORNIA THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND BECOME MORE ISOLATED, BEFORE
MOISTURE RETURNS AGAIN EARLY NEXT WEEK. HUMIDITY RECOVERIES WILL
TREND DOWN FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS BUT LITTLE CHANGE IN DAYTIME
HUMIDITY IS EXPECTED. TEMPERATURES WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE BUT
STILL REMAIN ABOVE NORMAL.

STORMS WILL SHIFT NORTHWARD TO THE TRINITY ALPS FOR FRIDAY
THROUGH THE WEEKEND, BEFORE MOISTURE RETURNS AGAIN EARLY NEXT
WEEK. HUMIDITY RECOVERIES WILL TREND DOWN FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL
DAYS BUT LITTLE CHANGE IN DAYTIME HUMIDITY IS EXPECTED.
TEMPERATURES WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE BUT STILL REMAIN ABOVE
NORMAL. WINDS WILL BE MAINLY BE LIGHT UNDER THE RIDGE EXCEPT
