DISCUSSION...
A HYBRID MONSOON BURST EVENT EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS.
DESPITE THE HEAVIER CLOUD COVER...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
BECOME NUMEROUS DUE TO THE MOIST AND UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE. STORMS
WILL TEND TO MOVE FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST TODAY AND THEN
GRADUALLY MOVE FROM WEST TO EAST ON WEDNESDAY AS THE SLOW MOVING
TROUGH SETS UP OVER COLORADO. WETTING RAIN WILL OCCUR BASED ON THE
POSITION OF THE FIRE ON THE SLOPE AND CANT RULE OUT LONGER DURATIONS
OF HEAVY RAIN. A STEADIER/LONGER DURATION RAIN EVENT WILL MOST
LIKELY OCCUR. A GOOD EVENT TO SET UP YOUR PLASTIC RAIN GAUGES
THROUGHOUT THE FIRE AREA FOR A RAINFALL/FUEL MOISTENING STUDY.
