.DISCUSSION...Winds will increase from the west southwest today
as an upper level storm system approaches from the west. Smoke
dispersal will rise to excellent over much of the area as
transport winds increase through the afternoon. Little chance of
precipitation is expected until late tonight and early Saturday as
a cold front moves southeast. Winds will shift to northwesterly
behind the front as temperatures cool. Isolated rain and snow
showers in the higher terrain will diminish quickly by daybreak
Saturday.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (20-30%).
Max temperature.....57-62 F.
Min humidity........26-31%.
Wind (20 ft)........Windy. Southwest winds 25 MPH with gusts up to
                    45 mph.
Smoke dispersal.....Good, increasing to excellent in the late
                    morning and afternoon.
Mixing height.......5600 ft AGL by 1000, increasing to 8000 ft AGL
                    in the afternoon.
