This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Deep South
Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A Heat Advisory is in affect for Hidalgo and Starr Counties
until 6 PM for heat index values ranging from 110 to 115. Heat
index values from 105 to 110 will continue into the early evening
as well across other portions of Deep South Texas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

There is a moderate risk of rip currents at the beaches of South
Padre Island and at Boca Chica Beach.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are likely to
produce locally heavy rainfall from later Sunday night through
mid-week, with the highest rainfall amounts expected on Monday.
Event totals of 2 to 5+ inches are possible, which could cause
periods of minor flooding.

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect until 6 PM for the Laguna
Madre due to strong southeast winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Small Craft Advisories for seas may be needed for the Gulf waters
from Wednesday night through Friday.
