THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING...WITH THE PRIMARY
THREAT SOUTH OF THE TRI-CITIES. NO SEVERE STORMS ARE
EXPECTED...BUT SOME STORMS COULD BE STRONG ENOUGH TO PRODUCE HAIL
UP TO THE SIZE OF DIMES...AND WIND GUSTS TO NEAR 45 MPH.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE AREA FROM
THE WEST THIS EVENING. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BE SEVERE WITH
THE MAIN THREAT WEST OF A LINE FROM ORD TO RAVENNA TO SUPERIOR.
THE PRIMARY HAZARDS WILL BE HAIL TO NEAR 1 INCH IN DIAMETER AND
WIND GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH.

FLOOD WARNINGS OR ADVISORIES REMAIN ALONG PARTS OF THE PLATTE
RIVER BETWEEN GOTHENBURG AND THE CENTRAL CITY AREA. PLEASE REFER
TO THE LATEST FLOOD STATEMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS REMAIN IN THE FORECAST FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT. A
STRONG STORM IS POSSIBLE FRIDAY EVENING FOR LOCATIONS SOUTH OF A
LINE FROM OSBORNE KANSAS TO GENEVA NEBRASKA...WHICH MAY PRODUCE
HAIL THE SIZE OF DIMES.

IN ADDITION...MINOR FLOODING CONTINUES ALONG PORTIONS OF THE
PLATTE RIVER. PLEASE SEE THE LATEST FLOOD STATEMENTS FOR FURTHER
INFORMATION.
