SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HEAT INDICES WILL APPROACH 100 DEGREES THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS
PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

HEAT INDICES WILL RANGE FROM 100 TO 105 DEGREES ACROSS MUCH OF
THE AREA ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE AREA ON MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY OF
NEXT WEEK AS A FRONT STALLS IN THE REGION. SOME OF THESE STORMS
COULD BE STRONG. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.
