COASTAL WATERS...

AT 657 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF THUNDERSTORM...FROM CURRITUCK BEACH LIGHT TO 16 NM SOUTHWEST
OF CURRITUCK SOUND.  THE LINE WAS NEARLY STATIONARY.

THE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
  CURRITUCK SOUND...CURRITUCK BEACH AT 730 AM.

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS OF UP TO 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY OR REMAIN IN PORT UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.
