  COASTAL WATERS FROM SURF CITY TO CAPE FEAR NC OUT 20 NM...

AT 206 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS
LOCATED OVER SHEEPSHEAD ROCK...MOVING EAST AT 5 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

YOUR BEST COURSE OF ACTION DURING THUNDERSTORMS IS TO SEEK SAFE
HARBOR. HOWEVER IF YOU ARE CAUGHT ON THE OPEN WATER...STAY BELOW DECK
IF POSSIBLE AND STAY AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED METAL OBJECTS UNTIL THIS
STORM PASSES. MAKE SURE EVERYONE ON BOARD IS WEARING LIFE JACKETS.
