AT 613 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS AND SMALL HAIL. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM NEAR NAGS HEAD
TO NEAR ALLIGATOR RIVER BRIDGE...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10 KNOTS.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
  THE CENTER OF CROATAN SOUND AROUND 625 PM EDT.
  NAGS HEAD AROUND 630 PM EDT.
  THE CENTER OF ROANOKE SOUND...KILL DEVIL HILLS AND AR130 AROUND
  640 PM EDT.
  AR140 AROUND 655 PM EDT.
  OREGON INLET...AR145 AND AR160 AROUND 715 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK
SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. IF CAUGHT ON THE
