WATERS...

AT 1142 PM AST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AREAS OF DEVELOPING
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL...
LOCALLY HIGHER WINDS AND SEAS AS WELL AS REDUCED VISIBILITY.
OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING IS EXPECTED. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE TO THE WEST AT AROUND 15 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

INTENSE LIGHTNING WILL BE LIKELY WITH THESE STORMS. IF CAUGHT ON
THE OPEN WATER STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE...KEEP AWAY FROM
UNGROUNDED METAL OBJECTS.
