ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 10 PM
PDT THIS EVENING.

* AFFECTED AREA...IMPERIAL COUNTY...ESPECIALLY WESTERN PORTIONS.

* TIMING...LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...SUSTAINED WEST WINDS 25-30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40
  MPH...HIGHER NEAR THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY BORDER.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS DUE TO AREAS OF REDUCED
  VISIBILITY IN BLOWING DUST AND SAND. ALSO...MORE DIFFICULT VEHICLE
  HANDLING DUE TO STRONG CROSS-WINDS ON NORTH-SOUTH
  ROADS...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. AFFECTED ROADWAYS
  INCLUDE INTERSTATE 8...HIGHWAY 78...HIGHWAY 86...AND HIGHWAY 111.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
