West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Hurricane Maria was centered near
32.3N 73.1W at 11 PM EDT this evening, and was moving N or
360 degrees at 06 kt. Maria is expected to move to near 33.2N
73.2W at 8 AM Tue, 34.1N 73.2W at 8 PM Tue night, 35.0N 73.0W as
a tropical storm at 8 AM Wed, 35.5N 72.4W at 8 PM Wed night,
36.5N 68.4W at 8 PM Thu night, 40.0N 57.5W at 8 PM Fri night, and
well E of the area near 47.0N 40.0W at 8 PM Sat night as a
post-tropical low. Also, S to SE swell from Hurricane Maria will
impact the area tonight into Fri night. Please refer to the
latest National Hurricane Center advisory for Hurricane Maria.
Otherwise, a cold front will move over the NW portion Thu into
Thu night, reach the central waters early Fri, and move over the
S waters Fri night and Sat before passing SE of the area Sat
night. Weak low pres will pass across the N and central waters
Sat. Another high pres ridge will build just N of the waters Sat
and Sat night.
