New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose was
centered SE of the area near 39N 68W this evening, and will drift
W while dissipating tonight into Mon. Hurricane Maria is expected
to track N and then turn E and NE while passing S of the area Mon
into Thu night. S to SE swell from Hurricane Maria will impact the
area throughout the period. Refer to the latest National Hurricane
Center advisory for Hurricane Maria. Otherwise, a high pressure
ridge will persist inland just NW of the waters tonight into Mon,
then weaken over New England Mon night into Tue. A cold front will
pass SE across the region late Thu into Thu night. A high pres ridge
will build in from the west Fri and Fri night.
