.DISCUSSION...TODAY WILL BE SUNNY AND DRY WITH ABOVE AVERAGE
TEMPERATURES AND LIGHT WINDS. THE RANGE LAND FIRE DANGER WILL BE
IN THE HIGH TO VERY HIGH CATEGORY TODAY. ANOTHER COOL FRONT WILL
CREATE BREEZY NORTHWEST WINDS ON FRIDAY...BUT TEMPERATURES WILL
REMAIN ABOVE AVERAGE AND CONDITIONS WILL STAY DRY. THE FIRE DANGER
WILL BE IN THE HIGH TO VERY HIGH CATEGORY AGAIN.

VERY LOW MOISTURE CONTENT OF GRASSES...AND OTHER DRY
ORGANIC MATERIAL ON THE GROUND...INDICATE THAT DANGEROUS
BURNING CONDITIONS EXIST. FIRES WILL SPREAD RAPIDLY AND
SHOW ERRATIC BEHAVIOR. OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

THE OUTLOOK FOR FRIDAY AFTERNOON...THE GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER
INDEX WILL REACH THE HIGH CATEGORY TO VERY HIGH CATEGORY.

MOISTURE CONTENT OF GRASSES...AND OTHER DRY ORGANIC MATERIAL
ON THE GROUND...INDICATE THAT THERE IS A MODERATE TO HIGH
POTENTIAL FOR A FIRE OCCURRENCE. OUTDOOR BURNING SHOULD BE
RESTRICTED TO EARLY MORNING OR EVENING HOURS WHEN WIND SPEEDS
ARE USUALLY LOWER AND THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY IS HIGHER.
