DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAUNTON MA
1209 PM EDT FRI MAY 6 2016

As an area of low pressure spirals just off the coast of South Jersey,
it will send moisture north over our region. This will yield widely
scattered showers across our southwest sections early this afternoon
which will then spread over the remainder of our region later today
and during the overnight.

On Saturday, the chance for showers will continue as the low opens up
and heads east. Dry conditions are expected Saturday night but the
chance for showers return on Sunday ahead and along a cold front that
will sweep through the region. A welcomed change in airmass will
arrive behind this cold front with dry and seasonable weather on tap
for early next week.

Area main stem river levels will change little through Sunday.

These forecasts include 24 hour precipitation for the period ending
at 7 am today, and forecast precipitation through 7 am tomorrow.
