...The Tennessee River at Scottsboro has crested...

Runoff from recent rainfall has caused river levels to rise
on the Tennessee River. Although it is not expected to reach
Flood Stage...some nuisance flooding of lowlands may still occur.

At 10 PM Saturday the stage was 21.3 feet. Action Stage is 21.5 feet.
Flood Stage is 28.0 feet. The river is forecast to stay just below action
stage through early Monday morning.

All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts...and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property.
