Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Basin average rainfall ranged from a trace to a tenth of an inch
over southeastern Ohio, southwestern Pennsylvania, and northern West
Virginia.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall is forecast to range from 1.00 to 1.50 inches,
with isolated higher amounts possible in thunderstorms across the upper
Ohio Valley.

River trends...
Area rivers are expected to rise with anticipated rainfall. Rises of
one to two feet are expected on the Allegheny, four to six feet on the
Monongahela, and up to 8 feet on the Ohio. At this time, most river
points are forecast to stay below action levels.
