Tonight chances for showers and thunderstorms mark the forecast
for the Northern Plains. Thunderstorms in the eastern Dakotas and
much of Minnesota may be strong to severe. A wide spread of
overnight low temperatures will be found across the region with
upper 30s found across the northwestern high plains to the 50s and
60s from southeastern North Dakota into eastern South Dakota and
southern Minnesota.

Cooler temperatures and widespread showers with isolated
thunderstorms continue through the weekend for most of the north
and western plains.
