AREA WEATHER OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EASTERN ND/GRAND FORKS
1053 PM CST FRI DEC 26 2014

PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA DID MANAGE TO
SEE A LITTLE BIT OF SUN TODAY. THE CLEARING LOOKS TO BE SHORT LIVED
HOWEVER...AS MORE CLOUD COVER IS ALREADY MOVING BACK TOWARD THE
AREA. THEREFORE IT IS UNLIKELY THAT TOO MUCH OF NORTHWEST OR WEST
CENTRAL MINNESOTA WILL SEE ANY CLEARING TONIGHT. AREAS UNDER THE
CLOUDS MAY ALSO CONTINUE TO SEE A FEW FLURRIES TONIGHT. ANOTHER WEAK
WEATHER SYSTEM WILL BEGIN TO SPREAD MORE LIGHT SNOW INTO AREAS ALONG
THE CANADIAN BORDER BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON. SOME OF THIS VERY LIGHT
SNOW MAY DROP DOWN TOWARD THE HIGHWAY 2 CORRIDOR SATURDAY
NIGHT...BEFORE EXITING THE AREA SUNDAY MORNING. IN THE WAKE OF THIS
SYSTEM...COLDER AIR WILL BEGIN TO MOVE INTO THE AREA FOR EARLY NEXT
WEEK.
