For tonight... a cold front extending from the Red Lakes area to the
Fargo area is expected to continue moving to the east. Isolated rain
showers and thunderstorms are possible through the night ahead of
this front, with the greatest rain chances in far northern Minnesota
and west central Minnesota. Behind this front expect northerly winds
and overnight lows falling to the mid 40s to low 50s. Scattered rain
chances persist for western Minnesota and far southeastern North
Dakota for Saturday, with more widespread rain expected Saturday
night through Sunday night. By the end of the weekend, most
locations will see between half an inch to one inch of rain with
areas closer to west-central Minnesota seeing higher amounts
exceeding two inches.
